Due to the Corona virus I had to cancel our trip as our flights were cancelled. After 6 phone calls and 4 emails I was finally told I would receive a voucher for my cancelled trip within 30 days. After 6 weeks I phoned them to explain that I had not received the voucher. I held on the line for 40 minutes before speaking to someone. I was calm and polite. The agent told me they had no record of any cancellation. I asked to speak to someone more senior. They hung up. I think they are being deliberately incompetent.
